Subject: [Leica] Why detachable lens heads?

I realized yesterday that I can mount my Leica screw-mount
lenses directly to the screw-mount adapter on the Viso/bellows 1
outfit, instead of going through an extension tube followed by
just the (detached) lens head. Is there any reason why I wouldn't
want to just use, for example, the entire 135/4.5 Hektor (focusing
tube plus head) directly on the bellows, instead of an extension
tube plus head? The focus tube on the Hektor is basically the
same thing as an extension tube. Same goes for the 90/4 Elmar
(which I am so happy to find that I can use on the bellows!)

Basically it appears that I could use any screw-mount Leica lens
on the bellows. Are some Leica optics designed or optimised for
this sort of macro work, or will any lens do?
