Subject: RE: [Leica] Luna pro F vs. M6 meter

I find the meter of the M6 to be set to give an exposure equal to Zone 6,
using that system as a reference for everyone. I can almost always carefully
find & measure an area I deem to be "average" with the M6 meter & if I
either open up or select the next longer shutter speed I almost always get
the same exposure my Luna Pro Digital meter gives me in the incident mode.
Obviously in back-lit situations I solely rely on an incident reading, as
the M6 meter is usually much further than one stop off the correct reading.

I will add that most in-board camera metering systems I've used have had
this type metering bias built in.

Subject: [Leica] Luna pro F vs. M6 meter

Hi all,

I recently bought a M3 and finally bought a 2nd hand lunasix F or luna
pro F
meter.

When comparing the metering of my M6 and the one of the lunasix F
I found a difference of 1 to two stop with indoors artificial light but
no
difference with other lights.
It is the same when I compared that with the measures of the sekonic 508

of one of my friend.

Is that normal ?
Is my lunasix F too old ?

Thanx

Xavier.
