Subject: [Leica] Waist-level finders

Ken's suggestion that a DeMornay-Budd finder would make a good answer to
the waist-level query that Emanuel posed would only really be a good
solution if Emanuel were using a non-rangefinder Leica, such as the
Standard. The DeMornay-Budd, if memory serves, is really good for this,
as it has a device that couples to the Elmar lens for focussing. But on
the higher rangefinder housing of a rangefinder Leica, parallax would be a
real problem. Of course, the Kuhn Flexameter doesn't offer parallax
compensation, but it doesn't seem to be a big problem when I use it at
moderate to far distances.
