Subject: [Leica] Waist level finders

Emmanuel,

There was a thread about waist-level finders on the IDCC list a little
while ago. Some members had attached waist-level finders from derelict
6x9 folders to an accessory shoe with some success.

Not being in any way handy, I've been using a Kuhn Flexameter, which is a
little focusable waist-level finder with pop-up magnifier for viewing the
ground glass. It turns your rangefinder into an uncoupled TLR and can be
a very nifty thing to use. I've just mailed mine off to a friend in
Montreal, by coincidence. If you like, contact me off-list and maybe I
can arrange for you to get in touch with him to get a look at it.

By the way, are you the Emmanuel Lowi of CBC?

Mark
