Hi all,

Folks, Sal is right on the mark with the 50/50 split. I've worked through
an agency, actually two of them during the past 40 years and at no time was
I ever paid less than 50/50 on assigned or stock sales.

Whomever this organization is offering 80/20 is ripping off unsuspecting
photographers, some may think, "WOW I'll be shooting for an agency wont
that be great!" when in essence they 're being screwed to the wall. Don't
even entertain the idea of sending your stuff. The industry standard is
50/50 or in some situations 60/40 for the agency.

Don't get excited about shooting for an agency sellng you this kind of
split, let it pass like a cloud in the wind!
