A couple of the avid amateurs here go out in it but have good
bags, BIG (and sturdy) umbrellas and various odd arrays of home-made "rain
coats" for their gear.
This is fine for landscape and nature shooters but cumbersome for
those who don't stand in one place to take pictures.
For serious landscape and nature shooters with Big Glass (280 2.8
and above) Tenba makes very nice (and expensive) rain coats that cover
lenses and cameras.
