There are a number of after-market self-timers available, perhaps the HAMA
and Kopil ones being best known.  The "Leica" solution is an APDOO
self-timer and an OZTNO adapter to fit the APDOO (which takes the LTM
shutter-release external thread) to the M6's conventional shutter-release
thread.
