I have it from a dependable source  that Canon will  release its new Canon EOS 1n
(or whatever they will call it) in the first quarter of 2000.

It will use a lot of the technology introduced in the EOS 3.

Add the Leica R to EOS adapter,  it may turn out to be one of the best body
choices for Leica glass.

No other info at this time -- but if Canon didn't think they had the F5 beat, I
doubt they would bring it out.
