I just bought a Leica IIIF RD. I call it my "Heliar Camera" and it's
small enough to fit in my bag with finder attached, alongside my M
outfit.

The IIIf + Heliar combo looks terrific and I'm tickled at the notion of
a 40+ year-old camera with multicoated aspherical optics! An actual
user's report will take awhile longer, because this IIIf needs shutter
repairs and an overhaul and so far, the quickest quoted turnaround time
is with John van Stelton, at 4 weeks. The cosmetics of the camera are
very nice--even collectable, I think. But with care, it's tough to wear
out a chrome Leica finish so no worries there.
