This one displays a serial number 3485738 and Leica factory number 11310. I assume yours is the latest and greatest pre-/ASPH Summicron? If so, it does answer the question. The number is 3397xxx. Up until now I had not even noticed the words 'Made in Canada' and had assumed it to be German, so the words sure wouldn't show on a photo on Ebay Gerry Gerry Walden (UK)
