The selection is somewhat unusual though. The Che photo is there, and the list of photographers is quite impressive. However, the Cartier Bresson is a relatively unknown image (portrait of Henri Matisse) and Inge Morath achieves a certain fame by being the only photographer with two images shown. I feel sure there are other great Leica photographers who could have occupied one month, and there are better Leica moments than the Matisse image by Bresson (although it is refreshing not to see a man leaping a puddle!) A new feature this year is that the reprise page at the back is in the form of perforated postcard size prints which could be removed and framed or sent to friends. I prefer to leave my calendar whole, though. It is a good production, good enough for me to pay my £15 ($24.50) for it, I think. I am hoping one day they will become collectors items for the grandchildren who will, in all honesty, probably throw them out with the rubbish. Gerry Gerry Walden (UK)
