Subject: Re: [Leica] lens caps - keeping them

Marc,

I have the lens couplers but have recently switched to the method of gluing two
rear caps together. The reason: I own a good assortment of M lenses, among them
three wide angles (15mm, 24mm and 35mm). It is frankly a nuisance that the M
coupler cannot be used with two wide angles, while two rear caps work just fine.

Incidentally, this problem does not exist with R lenses; the coupler has a
central barrier and can be used with any two lens combination.
