Subject: [Leica] Why I decided to keep the Apo Telyt

Friends,

Initially when I decided to get the new 90mm Apo Asph, I was going to
finance it by selling the 135mm Apo Telyt. But then I went on holiday in
Israel and used it quite extensively there. Images such as this one
convinced me to keep the lens:

These are rocks in the Dead Sea, coated with salt. The colours and
sharpness in the original slide are fantastic, despite the fact that I
was handholding the M6 at 1/125. Another image from the trip that I
really like is this one from near the Massada fortress in the desert:

This one was taken with the M6 and 50mm Summicron.

I know, the Web does not do justice to the Leica glass etc. But I
thought it would be refreshing to talk about photography for a change
;-)

Nathan
