Hi guys,

I was told by Leica reps once that some of the black anodizing fro the 1970's 
or so did exhibit a tendency to oxidize a bit and take on a reddish cast due 
to exposure to sunlight/uv.  This is not a complete or very scientific 
explanation, but reinforces the fact that this type of discoloration is 
"normal."
