Subject: [Leica] Re: Got my 24mm today!

Go to:

http://www.leica-camera.com/support/techserv/werterhalt/wert_e.htm

and read the last paragraph on the page.

As Leica says, there are situations where any filter will cause noticeably
degraded images. Therefore leaving a filter permanently mounted on your
lens is asking for less than optimum photographs. And, as they say, the
lens shade offers protection without compromise.
