Che's pic was probably chosen because it evokes a lot of emotions and
provokes many questions. Leica does not have to pay him to use the picture.
The kissing pic is, to me, just a nice documentary shot and the shot in the
head pic happens to be too painful a reminder (of 'Nam) if not somewhat
barbaric.
