I am testing a Scan Multi for a friend, and the screen images are super, no problem, and seem 'perfect'- save for those (*@$^#(&* dust spots! When I try to print the image, there are areas, like shadows and the subject's hair, that look 'blotchy', like a broad brush was used and there is no detail whatsoever. I scanned into both Microsoft Photo Editor, and Photoshop, and got the same result on the Photo 700, so I am inclined to think I am overlooking something in the print setup. I am using the same printer settings that I used for prints scanned with the flatbed, but the output is quite different. It is as if the image is peing printed with a limited palette. Any help would be grteatly appreciated! Dan
