Subject: Re: [Leica] 25/4 Skopar & 15/4.5 Heliar

Don,

I bought the 15mm Heliar a couple of months ago and have been very
pleased with it. It is the best super-wide I have ever used (I have not
tried the Leica 21mm but in any event, "super-wide" for me means 19mm or
shorter). The finder is superb. The images of course exhibit some of the
customary distortion and quality falloff at the corners, but for the
price it cannot be beat. I posted a couple of images on the LUG when I
bought the lens, you can find them by searching the archives using
"Heliar" as key word.

The 25mm Skopar has no interest for me, as I already have the 24mm
Elmarit-M.
