Subject: [Leica] R lens questions

Having now bought into the SLR system, I am getting the lenses that do
the sort of things my Ms are not good at. So I bought the 60mm macro,
and today I picked up a "user" (nice glass but some cosmetic wear)
f2.8/180mm Elmarit at a nice low price. Any opinions of this lens?

Another lens I would really like is one of the shift (PC) lenses. I lust
after the 28mm but it is soo expensive. A MUCH cheaper solution appears
to be the 35mm PA Curtagon. I realise that the Curtagon is less useful
than a 28mm and has less shift capabilities as far as I can tell. I
would still love to hear from someone who has used this lens. Is it
worth buying, or should I wait until I can afford the 28mm?

Nathan
