I think <http://freelori.org> is either disingenuous or incompetent,
since it manages to say nothing about who she is (the page "Who is
Lori?" is opaque and virtually meaningless), and raises more
questions than it answers. It says that she was a "young reporter"
but not for whom. It says the she "attended the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology" -- a rather ambiguous statement: did she
graduate? did she matriculate as an undergrad or just attend some
courses -- what does going to MIT have to do innocence?

When I see this kind of smoke-screen/weasel-worded broadside, it
raises my suspicions and reduces my confidence in the truth of what
is being said.
