It is probably one of the last produced since it was manufactured in Germany. The serial number is 360xxx. All the info I see on this lens says the closest focus distance is 3.3 feet. However the one I have focuses to 3 feet. Does anyone know if there were changes when Leica started making this lens in Germany rather than Canada? Any thoughts in general about the 35mm Summilux-M? Has anyone used this lens and the 35 Summilux-M ASPH? If so, would you say the improvement is major at the apertures from 2.0? Thanks.
