	I've recently acquired a couple of 50mm f2 Summitar lenses. They've both
seen better days but it appears that if I take the good parts from the both
of them, I can make one good lens. My question is this. I've disassembled
both lenses and am trying to move the front two elements from one lens to
the other. On the metal bracket that holds the second element is engraved
the number '80' on one lens and the number '84' on the second lens. My
question is this. Does this marking indicate the value of some variable
that might affect focus so that if I put the elements from the lens with the
'84' engraving into the barrel from whence the '80' came, I'll be out of
focus all the time?
	TIA.
