Jem,
Recently I bought a T-Elmar from a LUG member to use when the =
conventional trio is just too inconvenient to carry. When walking while =
taking photos I find that changing lenses often is a bother, so I take =
the 24 and T-Elmar. I think the T-Elmar to be excellent in all respects =
and, since I do not take photos in "total darkness", the f/4 maximum =
opening suits me fine (my daylight exposures seem to hover around =
f/5.6).
I find also that changing focal length is smooth and not a problem as =
some individuals stated when the lens was introduced.

While the price may seem high, for a tri-focal lens it could be a =
bargain.
So do wish, save, and one will eventually appear on the List.

Cheers,
Joseph

Surely this is where the Tri-Elmar would score, 3 focal lengths for =
day long trekking where space and weight are at a premium and exposures =
