Dick,

Lens selection is one of the most subjective things in photography, but
wouldn't this lens just give you about the same range/speed that you have
with the M? If you get an R8, you'd have more versatility by getting
lens(es) that don't duplicate what you can do with your M outfit. Maybe
something where an SLR has an advantage over a rangefinder - like a 19mm, a
180mm, a macro lens, or a longer zoom?
