I detect no difference in their use or ruggedness. The reason, as I understand it, for the chrome to be on brass is that aluminum cannot be chromed. For a meterless M to use with a 35, I'd choose an M2. It has the least cluttered viewfinder of an M, and has lines for 35, 50 and 90mm lenses Ken Wilcox >Hello all: > >I am new to this digest.
