	        In this debate, it seems that a number of correspondents
have gone out of their way to allow that auto-focus is a useful tool and
that manual focus has its own and equal place in the photographer's arsenal.
Continuing to refer to people who prefer manual focus as dinosaurs neither
settles the debate nor advances reasonable discussion.  I for one respect
the fact that you have decided that you have no need for manual focus
equipment, I hope you will accord me the same respect and not apply
pejorative labels to me because I choose not to use the "latest technology."
I enjoy following an informed debate, even when it gets vituperative, and I
hope that this interesting thread can return to a discussion among
reasonable women and men.
