Actually, for me the download speed is quite acceptable, as I have ISDN. But my 17" monitor will not display the entire image, particularly if it is vertical. This is quite annoying and spoils the enjoyment. I think you need to compromise your high standards a bit and size the images so that they can be viewed in their entirety on a 17" monitor at 768*1024, or even better on a 15" monitor. Not everyone has the latest and greatest.
