This is so funny.  I went through a very similar situation last year,
with an M6 chrome and an M6HM.  Never left both cameras in view at the
same time.  I wa constantly taping up the chrome body with black tape,
removing it, etc. so she understood that it could look chrome or black
at any given time.

My wife wouldn't actually mind if she knew I had two -- it was all
really in my head.  But I'm back down to one body now, so it's not
much of an issue now.
