The fact that other members returned the camera, and stated that the damage would be repaired shows that all of the law enforcement community are not unreasonable thugs. I worked with some of the finest, and still count many of my retired comrades as friends, but there are one or two that I would cross the street to avoid were I to encounter them on the street. The one one thing I really deplore s the tendency for the rank and file to protect these few 'wild hairs'- the fact of the matter is, if these cowboys were summarily discharged with the speed at which they act to abuse their authority, the whole profession would be better off! I hope these folks pursue all the remedies at hand! Dan
