Subject: [Leica] Battery life M6 TTL (again)

All,

An issue that has been adressed a few times already: battery life of M6 TTL.
Most likely there are some more figures available now, based on practical
experience.

I'm now using my M6 TTL for almost four months and took close to 300
pictures after which the flashing LED's of the light meter indicated an
"empty" battery. The (unloaded) battery voltage is 2.75V so the indicator
seems to work well. 300 pictures is far less than the 2900 indicated by
Leica. I must admit that I usually take more light meter readings (2 to 3)
before taking the picture which ofcourse affects battery life in a negative
way compared to the figures given by Leica. I used a Duracell Lithium
battery (one of the types specified by Leica).

Regards,

Piet
