Subject: [Leica] Question on eye-piece mounting M6 TTL

Luggers,

I noticed that there is a "specially shaped space" at right-hand side of the
metal "tube" (top-plate) at which the eye-piece is mounted. It looks as if
it's intended to be able to remove the eye-piece. Not that I have the
intention to do so, but I'm just wonder where the space is meant for. Do all
M6 cameras have this?
