Well, I am basically ignorant, I guess.  I don't know when the split between
PJs and Js occurred in the academic scene.  I don't even know what truth is
anymore.  I can remember the days (I think) when the Journalist and the
Photographer were complementary.  They didn't use high falutin Tejano terms
such as "photojournalist."

OTH, I started J school, was drafted, spent 3 years writing pro-Vietnam war
propaganda, went back to J school and found that truth had been redefined and
worst of all, they wanted me to write and photograph for free.  So much for my
education.  No wonder I am now a Geographer.
