Tina,

Last night I looked through your portfolios. As usual, your work is stunning.

Everything looks good on my computer, Internet Explorer on WinNT. No color
casts.

Your pictures give a new meaning to "appendectomy" and "dentist"... Whew!!!

All you folks out there that have complained about focus, M cameras, f/1.4
and f/1.0 lenses should take an extra close look at Tina's photographs.
Some of these were taken "wide open" at f/1.4 or f/1.0, close-up, and
exhibit minuscule depth of field. HOWEVER... you will notice that the focus
is EXACTLY where it is supposed to be, not by magic or luck, but focused
exactly there by Tina. This reinforces what I've always said. If you
understand your equipment capabilities, understand DOF, and understand what
the most important element in a photograph (scene) is, you can focus that
f/1.4 or f/1.0 lens, wide open, close-up, and make great photographs.

Those of you having problems, or even if you aren't having problems, should
take the time to study Tins'a photographs. The way she handles "extreme"
lighting conditions, extremely shallow DOF, composition, color, no color,
etc... is marvelous. There are many lessons to be learned from her work.

The LUG is extremely lucky to have Tina and her expertise so available.

Study her work.

Jim
