Subject: [Leica] Glass Used for Framing

Even though I do not get the photos that I see in my mind, I do get some
that I like to have framed. The other day we had some photos framed at a
nearby framing shop. When the prints came back the glass on two of the
picture was so reflective that it was difficult to view the picture. The
other two had glass that was so dull, but non-reflective, that the pictures
looked dull and dark. I will be taking these back to the framer to get them
"reglassed" or have the glass removed.

I looked around the room at all the pictures I have framed and the glass of
each one has a different degree of reflection. It has always bothered my a
little but really never gave a whole lot of thought but with these recent
ones, it got me to thinking that there must be a better way.

My questions are these:

What is the best framing glass for photos?

Should photos be framed without using any glass at all?
