Dear Leica friends,

This year`s second Leica Newsletter points out three very different innovations.

Let us begin with a really exclusive special model: In commemoration of the foundation of the "Optical Institute" by Carl Kellner in 1849, the origin of, among other companies, todays Leica Camera AG, 150 individually engraved LEICA M6-models have been produced.

The Leica Akademie has published its program for 1999: Once again, it includes everything from seminars to photo-trips.

Last but not least: Why not visit the home of the LEICA in Solms, the new directions will guide you on your way.
