YAHOO! :) I just received a phone call telling me I had been nominated for the Life Time Achievement Award by CAPIC..."The Canadian Association of Photographers & Illustrators in Communications." (CAPIC), Canada's premiere association of visual communicators. This is akin to being nominated for an Oscar and winning! :) :) On March 26 in Toronto I'll receive the award at a big wing ding affair! It can't get any better than this. :) I may just go out and buy myself a new M6 and a couple of lenses to celebrate!:) My wife on the other hand will have other ideas of celebrating. :) None of which have the word Leica attached. Howver this only happens once in a lifetime, so maybe I can do a real sweet talk job on her and she wont complain ____TOO___ much! :) Just wanted to share this wonderful news with the LUG family and the world!:) I had heard some rumours, but I never put much creedence in things like that as it's always someone else who gets nominated and wins. Me? Damn it's great!:) Yes teddy, there really is a Santa Claus after all. :) Going to be a tough night to get to sleep! :) :) Hell who cares. :) ted Ted Grant This is Our Work.
