Hi Jim,

But if they go to f 2.0 in the 90mm do you not think it might become
somewhat heavier? I had a 90mm  R sometime ago but got rid of it after I
bought the 80mm 1.4 and I don't re-call the 90 aperture nor really the feel
of it.

Besides it, the 90mm, would have to be some awesome lens to beat the 100
macro which I think macro a misnomer, as it can be used as an all round
lens for many applications other than macro.
