Yes, I do indeed have the 24 and it is a wonderful lens. The reasons why I went
with this focal length are similar to what others have said: the 28mm is not
different enough from the 35mm (which is my "standard" lens) and the 21mm is too
extreme. The 24mm is part of my "travel-light" outfit; for instance, when I went
to Greece earlier this month, I took only my M6 with the 35mm, 90mm and 24mm
lenses. The 24mm proved extremely useful in narrow streets and also among the
columns of the Parthenon, Zeus temple etc. This summer, I used it to take some
great shots in the chateaux of the Loire Valley in France. I never felt the need
for a 21mm lens, and on the other hand a 28mm would not have been wide enough for
many of the situations.
