Jim's normal day on the job (now retired and still shooting) was to get up at 4 or 5 a.m., run five miles ("You can carry running shoes, you can't carry a bike.") then shoot until about 9 or 10 a.m. Then get some lunch, or go inside and shoot some more. Then come out about 4 or 5 and shoot until dusk. Get a nice big meal, get to bed by 9 or 10 p.m. at the latest. Back up the next day. Repeat for 6 - 9 months.
