Sure he does, but he doesn't prefer to. Me either. But news happens when it
happens. 

Jim's normal day on the job (now retired and still shooting) was to get up
at 4 or 5 a.m., run five miles ("You can carry running shoes, you can't
carry a bike.") then shoot until about 9 or 10 a.m. Then get some lunch, or
go inside and shoot some more. Then come out about 4 or 5 and shoot until
dusk. Get a nice big meal, get to bed by 9 or 10 p.m. at the latest. Back
up the next day. 

Repeat for 6  - 9 months. Or until having shot around 1,000 or so rolls.
