You are quite correct, I made that quite unclear. I was thinking about the
_sensor_ that only reads a small area, not the surface it reads from.=20

I was trying to get to this: I hate the spot meter, and if they're going to
put a new sensor in there to read the whole frame, perhaps we could have a
choice between center-weighted and spot for the regular meter as well.
