Steve,

If you have the f/4.0 Telyt, here's some information about the lens.

It was manufactured from 1959 to 1984. This lens is a four element
replacement for the original f/4.5 Telyt and is supposed to have better
color correction than the earlier 200 mm Telyt.

As you know, the lens will screw directly on a Visoflex I and with the
adapter OUBIO/16466 will attach and work with Visoflex II/III.

Lenses for Visoflex II/III can be adapted to the original Leicaflex with
adapter 14127 and to Leicaflex SL and later SLR's with adapter 14167.
Adapter OUBIO/16466 is also required.

Note that during the production of the 200 mm f/4.0 Telyt there was a
change in the design that moved the diaphragm from between lens elements
2 and 3 to between lens elements 3 and 4. I don't know when this
occurred.

If you post the serial number of the lens, I may be able to tell you
approximately when it was manufactured.

Enjoy,
Bud
