The HM will rise in value for the simple reason that there aren't that many
of them. The regular M6 will drop precipitously on the new, and hopefully
the used, market, because anyone purchasing an M6 from this point forward
will want the TTL metering - and, assuming all else is equal - for an added
$200 they'd be crazy not to. HOPEFULLY, this will make the M6 more
affordable, especially on the used market. But with Leica equip, who knows?

Would any Luggers like to speculate what this new M6/TTL will do to the
value
of the soon to be discontinued .85 and regular M6's?

<< o reconfirm what has been discussed regarding a new M6, I read today
a Leica representative's written memo to a Leica dealer that specifically
stated that the new M6 with TTL will be introduced @ the upcoming
Photokina.
It will retail for $200.00 more that the standard M6 and it was
specifically stated that the current M6 would be discontinued. Absolutely
no
reference was made in regard to shutter
speeds or sinc. speed. It was stated that the shutter speed dial will be
slightly larger in diameter that the current dial.
