Met face to face with LUGNUT MC Lau past Sunday and had an enjoyable lunch and tour about the old Chinatown section of KL. I must say it is a photographers dream come true, as there are pictures 360 degrees as you turn about. Shot a few things, but I was still in basket case condition from 18 hours flying and moving into the future crossing the international dateline. Don't imagine I'll have much time for LUG reading as so far this week each day has been 14 hour days preparing for the XVI Commonwealth Games. Any of you who might be accredited to shoot the Games let me say this place is absolutely world class photo positions equal to or better than anything I've ever seen at the Summer Olympics. Sunday 23 Aug. MC has arranged a meeting of local LUGNUTS and others for an informal get to-gether and slide show of some of my happy snaps I've brought along. Looking forward to shaking the hands of other LUGGers at the event. Sorry you can't all be here as it sure is a fascinating country and city. Best entertainment in town? It's free! Watching the motorbike starts each time the traffic light changes to green. Shot some outside the hotel this past couple of mornings, but hopefully to shoot a dozen or so rolls in colour as it's the most amazing sight of traffic confusion and Le Mans starts each time. I've arranged for a ride as a passenger and shoot using a 15mm lens and R8 with winder during these wild starts. It must be awesome right in the middle. Let you know what happens! If you don't ever hear from me again you can assume what the outcome of the ride was....I'll now be the chief staff photographer to the Devil! :) Leicalight to all, ted ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
