I have an interval timer which came with my motor drive R.  So far it
hasn't seen any use at all.  Other than using it as a fancy cable release,
for single frame exposures, I haven't had any reason to use it.  Are there
any practical applications?  The longest time interval that can be set on
it (I think it's about 30 seconds between frames) is too short to be able
to do any useful time-lapse photography.
