Very interesting, but what is posted there doesn't seem to support your initial contention -- POP gave it the top grade, while CdI gave it a middlin' grade. And that is it. As the test results of both are, well, questionable, I'd not be unduly concerned about either of these. That very web site includes a rather neutral discussion indicating why these results ARE questionable. The most authoritative lens tests are, of course, those conducted with painstaking attention to detail and precision by our own Erwin Puts -- Erwin found the 1.4/50 to a perfectly satisfactory lens. http://www.imx.nl/photosite/leica/m/lenses/pages/choices.html Marc msmall@roanoke.infi.net FAX: +540/343-7315 Cha robh bas fir gun ghras fir!
