Subject: [Leica] M3 50mm rounded corners

I have an M3 sn 926### and am thinking about buying a 50mm f/2 summicron.  Just
wondering, whats the deal with the rounded corners on the 50mm framline?  How
accurate is the framing? seems kinda weird, unless there is something wrong
with my camera.
