I have the original version of the 28 ElmaritR. This is an outstanding =
lens and has a fine reputation. If you can find a good example, I'm =
sure you would be pleased with it.

1) I want to buy a R-28mm for my R7, but in Hong Kong they don't =
even carry the non-ROM ones anymore... Has this lens been discontinued? =
I have found several no. 11 247; is the design the same as the ROM one, =
or has it been redesigned (and presumably improved)? The older one is =
considerably cheaper....
