You might check my review of the G2 (with a comparison to an M6) at the Contax

In general, the G2 is a very different camera than the M6.  They really are
applicable to different types of photography.  The design philosophy is
diametrically opposed.  The G2 is a very fine camera in its way, just as the
M6 is a fine camera for its purposes.  The G2 lenses are very high quality.
