Guido: Here is what I hope is a constructive suggestion. Let us assume that
the R8 has "teething" problems-afterall it is a radically new Leica reflex.
Hence, buy a demo R7(about $1300 in the US). Keep the lens and the flash.
Then,  when the alleged problems of the R8 are resolved buy the "improved"
R8. The R7 you may want to keep as a second body or trade it towards the R8.
