The circular flange on the inside of the baseplate could be (can be?) turned independently of the fold-out "Auf - Zu" locking handle. Once re-oriented through lots of staring (because I'm not mechanically bright!) and some experimenting, they got back in sync and it worked right again. Does that help at all? If not, I recommend staring at Leicas anyway, as a form of meditation. Good luck. - --Robert - ---------- > From: Bruce Feist <bfeist@flock.org> > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: [Leica] IIIc Baseplate > Date: Sunday, March 08, 1998 7:37 PM > > Hello, Leica folks; > > I have a pair of screw-mount Leicas: a IIIc and a IIIf.
